Forced Family Fun Day 2012

Every year we head up to apple country for a little u-pick fun. A little ways down the road is our favorite pumpkin patch, complete with popcorn, pumpkin pies and a hay ride. It is a day everyone looks forward to ever fall. So we have named the day we do this every year "Fall Forced Family Fun Day". It is funny because because it is not forced at all. Everyone loves it and when we announce that the day is forced family fun day, they know exactly what we are doing and instantly get excited!

Our Forced Family Fun Day 2012 happened on Sunday. It was overcast skies with a high of about 75 so we were able to wear jeans and get into the fall-ness. The picking was great. The pumpkins seemed incredibly orange and huge and the hayride was gorgeous, taking us right through the middle of a sunflower field. I just wished we could have jumped out and had a mini photo shoot. :-)

Of course I had my camera!!! And my page is already done.

I used the new fall line from Little Yellow Bicycle called Acorn Hollow. This one is delicious. Seriously. I love the fall colors and patterns.

I really am digging the new chipboard shapes too. They are so fun and add just a touch of whimsy.

So what fall traditions do you and your family like?

Thanks for stopping by all!
