Isn't it always a little sad when vacation is over? Well, I think so. Mine was actually over and I was back at work yesterday, but yesterday was crazy! The first day back always seems to be. I did get some great pictures of the beach last week and beautiful shots of the girls on Easter! Those will be fun to scrapbook!!!
I do have a new page to share today. It is up over on the Pink Paislee blog, but I am going to share it here. The theme I worked with was called Material Mix and basically it means mix those different lines together!
For this project I mixed together 5 different lines. Sure, not all of the lines have a huge representation, but I used something from each of them.
I think that mixing embellishments is easier than mixing papers. Embellishments are smaller and use more of the accent colors so to use them together with embellishments or papers from a different line just works better for me.
But mixing papers is a lot of fun and it gives you a more unique look to your pages. It is really about now getting frustrated or dismissive about being able to mix the lines. Just sit down and look about BOTH sides of the papers with your photos and you would be surprised about what works together!
Anyway, that is all for now. I hope you have a wonderful Tuesday! Thanks for stopping by!

ReplyDeleteWonderful colors! You really are great at creating so many layers and your video made it look soooo easy! I loved how you used mostly a 6x6 pad of paper - I often wondered why people would want 6x6 but know I know! Keep the amazing work coming! I love to see your stuff!
